Product Overview

ND YAG Laser Dermatology Equipment - Tattoo Removal and Skin Toning

ND YAG Laser Equipment

Working Theory: The special wavelength of YAG laser can penetrate skin of human body according to the theory and practice of "selective laser decomposing". The instrument uses the laser-wave to break Chromatophore into pieces which can be naturally absorbed by the body, achieving the purpose of de-freckling.

The 1064nm wavelength shatters and removes black and blue pigments, while the 532nm wavelength shatters and removes red, pink, purple, and brown pigments without damaging normal tissue.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Q-Switch ND YAG laser work?
The laser emits specific wavelengths that are absorbed by the tattoo pigment or melanin. This energy shatters the pigment into tiny particles, which are then naturally cleared away by the body's immune system.
What is the difference between the 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths?
1064nm is ideal for dark colors like black and dark blue, and can penetrate deeper. 532nm is effective for brighter colors like red, orange, and brown, targeting more superficial layers.
Is the treatment painful?
Most patients describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. Many systems use cooling technology to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
How many sessions are required for tattoo removal?
The number of sessions depends on the age, color, and depth of the tattoo ink. Professional tattoos usually require several sessions spaced a few weeks apart for complete clearance.
Are there any side effects?
When performed by a professional, side effects are minimal. Some temporary redness or swelling may occur, but the selective nature of the laser prevents damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
What maintenance does the machine require?
The machine features a modular design for easy maintenance. Regular water filter changes and ensuring the cooling system is clean are the primary requirements for long-term reliability.
